What can you eat in the evening without gaining weight? – This is how you stay slim

Which meals can you eat in the evening without burdening the body or even gaining weight? A selection of salads, soups, dishes with fruit and cereal flakes will help you to create a varied menu in this regard.

What you need:

2 tbsp millet flakes
1 tbsp ground almonds
400 ml light vegetable stock
1 small fennel bulb
One tbsp olive oil
1 clove of garlic

In the evening it is good to have something light to eat

So not to unnecessarily burden the organism in the evening and during the night, it is generally advisable to enjoy easily digestible foods that are as fat-free as possible. In this way you ensure a good night’s sleep and you don’t have to worry about gaining weight from the evening meal. Here are some hints:

If you can set it up, don’t have dinner after 6 p.m. If possible, the last meal should be eaten by 7 p.m. at the latest.

Avoid ready meals in the evening. Overall, it is advisable, in the sense of a conscious diet, to remove such dishes from the menu altogether.
Make yourself aware that at the end of the day you want to do something good for yourself with your meal. So you will probably be happy to go to the trouble of preparing a nice meal.

Beautify your food by arranging it in an appetizing way.
Do not drink alcohol or juices with added sugar in the evening. Herbal teas or mineral water, on the other hand, are suitable. Put together a herbal tea mixture according to your own taste. Avoid coffee or black tea, as these stimulate the appetite in some people.

Mainly eat salads, fruit, soups made from root vegetables or cereal flakes. Crisp bread and low-fat quark with fresh herbs are also suitable.

Do not consume animal fats. If you would like to eat a slice of bread, opt for whole wheat and try an olive oil and garlic dip with it instead of butter. Below I share an interesting and delicious soup recipe that you can enjoy guilt-free and also get many important nutrients at the same time.

Eating without gaining weight: fennel soup with millet and almonds

Fennel is a root vegetable that can have a positive effect on digestion. At the same time, it contains a lot of vitamin C, which promotes the absorption of the nutrients contained in almonds.

Put the millet flakes together with the almonds without fat in a pan and heat both until lightly browned. Then pour 100 ml of the vegetable stock and let everything swell at a very mild temperature until millet and almonds have taken on a creamy consistency. Stir every now and then and make sure that nothing builds up.

Wash the fennel bulb, cut off the delicate green and set it aside. Remove any damaged areas and the stalk. Then cut the fennel into small cubes.
Put the fennel and the chopped garlic clove with the olive oil in a saucepan and fry both lightly. Pour in the rest of the vegetable stock and cover and let everything simmer for about a quarter of an hour.

At the end of the cooking time, take two tablespoons of fennel and puree it together with a little broth. Carefully stir in the fennel butter combined with the cream of almonds and millet flakes, season with pepper and then garnish the soup with the finely chopped fennel.
A slice of crisp bread goes well with the delicate taste of the soup.
