  1. I am curious to try this out. Might just add it once a day to a glass of water. Do you have a brand or ACV that you recommend? And if I can’t do the tase with just water what are your favorite options for mixing besides honey? I can’t think of what fruit juice it might taste best with. From what I am reading here this is a slow game of losing weight in this way but if it gives all the benefits it couldn’t hurt to try. Thanks for all the info!

To answer your questions: You can mix ACV with Lemon Water and add a little bit of Stevia instead of honey. Of course, you can drink it without any sweeteners too, and, to be honest with you, I tried it myself and it’s not at all that bad. I mix mine with organic cranberry juice and sometimes with green tea. I don’t use regular honey, but Manuka honey to enhance the sweetness. I don’t do that all the time either; it’s really after my mood at that time being. As for the brand, I get Bragg. That one is organic and comes with the mother. In case you’re asking yourself what the mother is, I’ll write an article about this subject in the next couple of days, however, it’s basically this slimy substance you so often see on the bottom of some vinegar bottles. It’s cellulose and the most healthy part of the ACV. As I said, I’ll write a more in-depth article about it soon.

    Great article – and yes ACV does help to suppress apetite. But there are two important things to note.

    Must always be bought in a glass bottle – ACV is very acidic and will “draw out” the phytoestrogens and other toxins from a plastic bottle.

    The other – brush teeth afterwards as it can weaken tooth enamel due to the acidity.

  5. I’m a big advocate for Apple Cider Vinegar. I use it as part of my health plan, every morning with a glass of lemon water (sometimes I add a dash of cayenne pepper to spice things up). It’s definitely been a great contributor to my weight loss. I find I actually crave it now! I also use it when making bone broth.     Thanks for your informative article. i must admit I had never heard of the benefits of ACV tto lose weight. I have lost 4 stone over the last year by changing the way I eat and getting more exercise but have not got round to giving up the alcohol yet:) I found eating less bread helped too. I aimed for 1lb a week over a year and achieved it and a bit more. So any article like yours that encoureges people to look after their health is great with me.
